14 Days in the Airstream

Today marks the 14th day in the Airstream since departing from West Virginia.  2 weeks have already passed by faster than I thought possible.  Time is such a strange thing, isn’t it?  It goes so slowly when we’re somewhere we don’t want to be, and so fast when we are enjoying things.

As I’ve been working on my client’s website, running all over the place photographing, and visiting with other campers in the park I keep finding the day done before I expected.  One minute it’s 8 a.m., then next it’s 6 p.m.  How am I supposed to get anything done with fast moving days?  🙂

Since I’ve hit the road again a few goals were set.  Some I’m meeting.  Others I’m not.  And a lot of my missed goals are all about having more time.

My intention when hitting the road was to do one video podcast a week.  Yeah, that hasn’t happened.  I’ve got a ton of footage, but haven’t gotten into the editing.  Additionally I decided an audio podcast a few times a week would be cool.  Once again, I have a bunch of decent audio but haven’t tossed it into Garageband yet to clean it up.

Bottom line?  Client’s needs come first.  Get their work done.  Then my personal goals can be met once I’ve wrapped up with what the customer wants.  So keep watching, at some point a bunch of podcasts might go up.

And with that….I’ve got to get back to work.
