Let’s see if the blog can be updated for a whole month

Things are wrapping up around here.  Out with the old and in with the new.  Not even New Year’s Eve and I’m pondering big change.

Next week the tie over job will be done.  Interesting timing too.  I submitted my resignation a little over a week ago without consideration to the timing of things.  My first day fully dedicated to my new career starts 12/7/08.

December 7th.  “D Day.”  Interesting.  Better yet, also the day my mom began her bone marrow transplant in 1973.  35 years later I’m starting the next chapter in my life.  Didn’t time it that way, but that’s how it worked out.  Good omen?  Bad omen?  Not sure.

The thing I’m sure of is that I’ll be drilling into every possibility available to make this work.  It’s going to have to work, as it is what I want to do.

So, the first starting point is simple…….

Stop neglecting the blog.  Going forward I shouldn’t be so spent bouncing between two offices.  This should free some cognitive powers up, and maybe the blog will have some happening stuff again.  We’ll see……

At least the first effort has been made.  I wasn’t even going to blog tonight.  I’m tired and sore from a hike today, and really all I want to do is sleep.  So, that’s what will come next.

Until tomorrow….  :)

  1. It’ll all come with time. Be patient. Pearl Harbor Day does not necessarily make December 7th’s “new start” a bad omen.

    Have faith my friend…

  2. Lois,

I know we’re not in “bad omen” land with Pearl Harbor Day. Also the same day that kept my mom around an extra 25 years! :) Just funny that certain important days in our lives pop up over and over again.
