Just to follow up on the recent post regarding the security officer running me off the plaza the other day. They mis-understood the permit rule.
After a flurry of comments on Facebook, here, and in private e-mail, one reader checked in with the County and found the officer to be in error. So, continue enjoying shooting on the square. 😉

Just because the officer was ‘in error’ this time doesn’t mean she or any of the other officers won’t be ‘in error’ next time and chase you off again. They should just change the permit regulation so it makes sense.
