Cleaning up my Lightroom Library is slow work…..

While working my way back through the 2010 catalog I keep finding little gems here and there.  And I’m supposed to be in the library cleaning house, not getting distracted with images!

Today’s image is the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument.  I’m right on the Southwestern edge of the Monument, on my way to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.  The Vermillion Cliffs hosts such amazing spots as Coyote Buttes North, Buckskin Gulch, Wire Pass, The Wave, Paw Hole, Cottonwood Cove, the Teepees, and of course, White Pocket!  If that’s not enough for you, if you’re still not tempted to visit the place, don’t forget about the Paria River and canyon.  How about a hike from White House (in Utah) to Lee’s Ferry (the launching point for many rafting adventures in the Grand Canyon).

In addition to all of the amazing places to visit, the Vermillion Cliffs are stunning from 89A.  Driving along a giant wall of red rock for miles on end never gets old.

Oh, and don’t forget the tumble weeds……
