Antique Airstream along Route 66
May 14th through the 18th Airstreams will dot the Point of Rocks RV Park. Of course, several Airstreamers are here right now, but next week there will be many more!
The other month I was contacted by one of the upcoming rally organizers. He popped by the Airstream just as I was getting ready to shovel food into my face……how awkward. 🙂 But he introduced himself and I forgot about my dinner. I always like talking Airstream. I always like talking digital gizmos and photography. And that’s what we talked about!
Once the gathering gets going I’ll be spending a little time with the group. The request? A photo tour in the area. So, we’ll be doing a few things……
Saturday morning (the 16th) we’ll be doing a photowalk in town with group members. We’ll be starting around 9 a.m. and doing a circuit of the town. Should be fun!
After our morning walk I’ll be returning home for a little while, and I might even head back and spend a little time at the gallery.
Late afternoon I think we’ll do a quick tour of the Dells for those folks who want to do a little rock scrambling. There’s always something interesting to shoot in the Dells, so it’ll be another photo opportunity!
