And so the Airstream heads to Georgia

Wow, 2 months went by way too fast.  We arrived here right at the start of June, and now here we are in August!  Whew, time really does go by faster the older you get.

With our project wrapped up here in New England it is time to go.  It was great to see family and friends, and fantastic to actually be in the area when my sister gave birth to her first son.  We’ll overlook the part where I ended up in an ER in the same hospital my sister was in!

I’m happy to say that the Manchaug Pond Foundations website came together nicely.  Once information started rolling it was pretty easy to work through.  We’re also really happy that the Foundation can now update and change the look of their site very easily.  Going forward they can grow the site along with the foundation’s own growth.  So, another happy client in the books.

The next destination will find us near the start of the Appalachian Trail.  We’ll be working with a business there, updating their web presence and mobilizing the site for their clients.  A database is in the works, but that won’t come until next year due to some financial constraints (stuff always comes up).  I haven’t stopped and stayed in Georgia since 2001.  I’ve only driven through since then.  The big hope?  No humidity……  That’ll happen!

I have a feeling we’ll be stopping by Springer Mountain while we’re there just to say “Hi” to the start of the Trail.  One of those nostalgia trips!

Well, that’s a wrap for this post.  I’ll see you down the road.
