22 Foot Airstream

From the Four Corners

Yesterday we took a ride out to the Four Corners Monument. Jodi had never been there before, and I figured, “Why not?” The drive wasn’t a long one from Cortez, and while you’re near an attraction you’d best go see it. Of course the monument is nothing like the National Monuments of the Southwest. It was crowded, there wasn’t much to see. Oh, and it’s $5 per person (ugh).

Last night and this morning I worked on the latest video post for our Kickstarter Project.  We now have under 66 hours for the project to be fully backed.  If it’s not fully backed then donors are charged nothing, and for the moment the project gets put on backburner.  Yes, it’s a worthwhile thing to do, but we need to focus on a few more paying contracts.  That’s the reality here, and why we tried doing this crowdfunding experiment in the first place.

If you haven’t backed The RV’ers Guide to the National Monuments of the Southwest yet, you’re running out of time.  Head on over and back it today.  Right now I know for a fact that if regular readers pledged $10 each we’d exceed our goal.  It’s that simple.
