It’s a dry heat

I think it’s safe to say that I officially like warm and dry days.  The return to Prescott has made me say “brrrrrr” a lot.  I remember back in New England enjoying the cold days, carrying wood in for the stove, walking around in the snow, etc.  Now?

Calgon, take me away…..to Borrego!

Fortunately the trip back to Prescott will be a short one.  I have a sneaking suspicion that in the next few weeks I’ll be seeing a lot more of Phoenix, and this time of year that doesn’t sound like a bad thing.  And don’t get me wrong, I still totally dig Prescott.  Just warmer.

As I noted in my winter camping post the other day, the best thing an Airstreamer can do to combat cold winter camping is to move somewhere warm.  Somewhere you can wear your Chacos.  🙂

I did laundry yesterday and it was full of shorts and T-Shirts.  Now I’m back to the long sleeves, pants, and occasionally a Smart Wool top.  Man, I have gone soft.
