Sitting on the AZ / CA border has really been messing with me. It’s currently 7:16 a.m. My phone says it’s 6:16 a.m. Signal from the CA cell towers tells the phone one thing, but I know it’s really 7:16.
Of course, if I were to swim across the river here it would be 6:16 and I could sleep a little longer. All it takes is a few hundred yards and I’m in a different time zone. How weird is that?
The whole time change / zone thing has always messed with me. Back in the engineering days we always had to be ready for our switches on the “Spring Ahead” and “Fall Back” nights. If only there were a better way.
Whatever time it is, I’m up. So I guess I’ll go start the day.
