What time is it?

One of the neat things about Airstreaming is you're always home inside. But when you open the door you could be anywhere!

This morning I woke up at what would normally be 6:00 a.m. EST.  However, last night was “Fall Back” for daylight savings time, right?  Add to it the fact that I’m now in Central time and what do you get?

4:00 a.m. wakeup, and me wide awake!

Yesterday was a short day on the road.  My destination for the day was a small town in TN.  Quick visit to a friend along the way you see.  So unlike Friday I wasn’t behind the wheel for over 8 hours.  Instead, 3 hours of driving got me off the road for the day.

Incredibly enough I’m parked in a “City Park” where I am the only camper here.  Water and electric hookups as well.  And the price?  $10 per night.  Can’t beat that at all!

I’ll be doing a little exploring today with my buddy “J”.  He’s offered to show me around.  And yesterday we took a quick trip through a state park up the road which screamed to be photographed, but I had foodstuffs in the back of the truck and didn’t want everything to melt.  The weather looks good for today, so a return trip to the park is in order.

That’s all I’ve got for the morning.  I’m thinking about the next segments of the trip, planning a little, and just getting ready for a relaxing day.  The fall colors are in force here as well, so hopefully I can get a decent image or two before I resume the westward push.
