It’s Friday, and that means some unwinding time tonight. A half hour ago a friend sent along a message, “It’s hot drop o’clock.” Well, not for me yet, I’ve still got clients.
So, some number of months ago my good friend Ben introduced me to a video game I’d never tired. Eve Online. Now I hadn’t really gamed since hitting the road back in 06. And I never got into any of these multi-player online games that go on forever. But I figured what the heck, give it a whirl.
Months later I’m still playing. And Friday nights are the big blow off and blow up nights! So yeah, soon it will be hot drop o’clock. Of course, I can’t fly any of the big ships to make a hot drop happen, but ah well. We’ll see what our friends in England are up to and go from there!
So, now I ask. Any of my readers out there part of Eve? If so, drop a note. We can go for a roam sometime. 🙂
P.S. Hot drops are when a big ship gets warped into the middle of a battle thus turning the tides against enemy forces. It’s fun, really! Ah, my geeky side shows though yet again.
