Photographing Arizona Podcast Episode 13: Why Do I Personally Use HDR? Part one of the HDR Series

Over the past few weeks I’ve been reading a lot about HDR.  It seems to be one of those hot button topics that’s getting hotter.  Don’t know why that is, but it is.

Personally, I stumbled across HDR several years ago.  A person had paid a compliment about one of my recent landscapes, and then he asked me, “What about HDR?” or something to that effect.  Prior to his question I’d never heard of HDR.

So, this episode covers my personal HDR usage, what got me started, and a personal favorite early HDR that I created.  I show you the photos that went into it, and what came out as a final result.

Be sure to tune back in soon!  I’ll be following up in this series with a podcast on creating super surreal HDRs, extra real HDRs, and why you should probably try out your software a little more and stop depending so much on presets!  🙂
