2009 Worldwide Photo Walk People’s Choice – Prescott made it in!

Richard Charpentier Notes from Rich, Photography 2 Comments

Paul Bartell was kind enough to drop me an e-mail this morning about the People’s Choice Award for the 2009 Photo Walk.  I hadn’t popped by the Photo Walk site in a little while, and Paul’s e-mail spurred me to action.

The top 25 pics from the voting of folks like you and me is in.  This year’s Prescott Winner, Norman Crewz, was selected in the top 5 for People’s Choice.

No, Norman doesn’t get anything extra for that beyond the recognition among peers who participated that his photo was indeed a very cool photo!

Congrats Norman!

  1. Congrats… both to the photographer who captured a winning photo and to the walk leader for choosing a winner!

Also interesting to note that the photo voted #1 is that of a statue of the infant Jesus and His Mother… which you happened to post on September 8th – the feast of her Nativity as celebrated by the Catholic Church. Interesting. And I never saw that image before. Love how relaxed the Baby is and the smile on the Mother – unusual. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
