A short post, but worthwhile

As many readers know, I keep up with Scott Kelby’s Blog on a regular basis.  There’s always great information there, and it’s always a worthwhile visit.

I’m keeping today’s post extremely short.  I want you to check out the video created by this week’s guest blogger, Zach Arias.  I didn’t pop by Scott’s site yesterday, but caught up with it today.  You don’t have to be a photographer or photoshop person to enjoy and hear what Zach has to say…….

  1. I would have to disagree. I think a majority of people out there can associate with the idea behind that video. I almost posted the vid this morning, but work caught me up and you beat me to it. 🙂

Tombo, I think you agree. I said you don’t have to be a photographer or photshopper to appreciate what he’s doing. 🙂

Thought it was a great video that everyone could get something out of .

Tombo, not only do you speed read the blog (it’s ok, I speed read yours too), but then you’re waiting in the garage (stalking me) with your new Nikon. Did you photograph my whole walk out from the gallery? More importantly, did you make me look good?

  6. Hmmm… the flash button makes you look good, eh?

Speaking of bracketing… I did finally get it figured out. One of those RTFM moments.

  7. I loved the video as well…Megan and I watched it together last night and were inspired. Zack has captured the feeling of winter and art in perfect form. I’ve often felt as if winter was a time for things to “die” and rest…things to be taken internal before they’re re birthed again. Which doesn’t make it any easier to let got and feel while it’s happening…but there it is.

PS Does my camera have a make me look good button? Cause’ I could use a few more portrait pictures that don’t make me ill.

PPS What’s up with the little weird faces in the squares on our comments? Did you choose them for us? Because mine comes up as a weird purple face thing that is kind of surly…is this what you think of me? And why it Tombo’s a weird one with tape over it’s mouth? It kind of reminds me of the Invisible Man…but still…

  8. I loved the video… I just watched it again and wow, so powerful.
It’s comforting to know that even the best struggle with there art. Thank you Rich for the link and thank you Zack for such an inspiring piece of work.
