It’s been a while since I’ve done a blatant shameless plug for myself here, so I thought it was about time.

For a very limited time I’ve made some changes on my Zenfolio portfolio. Zenfolio is an online service where I list my images for sale. They work directly with MPix, my favorite online printer, and they can package up images quickly and express ship them to you in time for the holidays. Easier than waiting in line at a retail outlet, wouldn’t you say?
As an added incentive, I’ve spent the morning on my Zenfolio site updating all of the price lists and dropping prices on all of my print sizes. Why? Simple, I want to have a happy holiday season too. Honestly, I’d like to see my business in the black this month to where I can give myself the ultimate Christmas present this year. A paycheck! 🙂
Now, where other blogs ask for donations to keep themselves going, I think a different approach is in order. Value for value. So, this year why don’t you pick out a favorite image for yourself or someone special and place an order? You’re not donating into a void, you’re purchasing something that will stay with you for years to come, and you’re helping one small business owner in Prescott, Arizona!
But wait, there’s more…… I’ve just uploaded select images from Coyote Buttes South and White Pocket to my Zenfolio page. Until today the Coyote Buttes and White Pocket images were only available directly through the gallery. I’ll be keeping these two new Zenfolio galleries up until the end of January, 2010, and then they will only be available directly through the gallery once more.
Finally, prices are at an all time low on my Zenfolio account. The prices are only going to be this low through the end of December, 2009. Come this Spring I will be raising prices on all pieces offered at Zenfolio and in the Ian Russell Gallery. After comparing prices and sizing at other galleries in Sedona, Flagstaff, Scottsdale and more I’ve found that my price lists are beyond reasonable. Plus, for all the work I go through in making the images I’ve got to compensate myself better! 🙂
