Whispy AZ Clouds

Back in the saddle for real

Richard Charpentier Notes from Rich 2 Comments

Last week I tried returning to work too soon.  Thursday didn’t work out so well.  The flu kicked my butt like you wouldn’t believe.  While I’m recovered for the most part I’m still running a little slow.  Another friend who had it weeks ago still doesn’t feel up to par yet, so I guess I’m easing back into things.

You’d think with all my free time I might have accomplished some things around home or something like that.  You’d be wrong.  There was a lot of napping, a ton of coughing, 3 boxes of Kleenex were laid to waste, and I spent most of my time dealing with the “dizzies, sweats, and cold shakes.”  Overall a fun time was had.

I did manage some reading here and there, and I got to check out a new piece of software that I purchased based on John Harrington’s “Best Business Practices for Photographers.”  I’ll be talking about the software, FotoQuote, at length in the near future.  Amazing piece of software with great information for photographers doing commercial work / selling to magazines.  A must have!

Now with this short update out of the way I’m off.  A back log of clients from last week, plus folks showing up this week!  🙂
