David Riley’s “Outside In” – 4th Friday Artwalk May 22nd

Richard Charpentier Arizona, Notes from Rich, Prescott Leave a Comment

The gallery has been busy this week.  I’ve been cranking out canvas reproductions like crazy, Ian has been framing like a maniac, and tomorrow we’ll be re-hanging the entire gallery.  Nothing like a busy week!

This Friday is the 4th Friday Art Walk in Prescott, AZ.  Every month galleries all over town stay open later on Friday night.  Usually new shows are brought forth, like David’s new show starting in our gallery.  It should be great!

I’ve already gotten to see David’s new paintings.  Heck, I’ve done a couple of reproductions of them already.  But very few folks have seen his latest work.  When he first e-mailed the latest scans of his paintings I was blown away.  David is beyond good…..and I have a feeling he’ll be getting more recognition in the years to come.  There’s one original I’d like to own….but you know, living in an Airstream, not much wall space……  At least I get to see his work every day while I’m in the “office.”

So, if you’re in the area stop into the Ian Russell Gallery.  It doesn’t have to be for the Art Walk if you can’t make it.  We’ll have his new wall up for at least a month.

Oh, and no images of his work on here today.  Sorry.  It’ll be seen first on the 22nd.  Then maybe I’ll post a few low res versions of his paintings here.
