Today a semi-regular customer popped in for some prints. She’d been to Costco for some “quickie” prints of smaller pieces and found herself more than a little disappointed.
The photos were of her daughter. A lovely young lady full of life and color. Unfortunately, the print lab decided she should be washed out, drained of color, and desaturated. The poor kid looked like somebody had drained the warmth right out of her face.
So we pulled up the images on screen. Sure enough, she had lots of life and lots of color in the images.
As I always say, you get what you pay for. And the cheapest printer in town might not serve your needs! Especially if you want your prints to look right. 🙂

Wow, Rich, you just keep getting better! For me, one of the joys of getting off the road for awhile is checking your blog and catching up. Some of your posts will be getting multiple readings.
Lots of snow here, making me already long for more southern climes. But the weather here will make it easier to keep my nose to the grind, which I must now do…
