I’ve been hearing a lot about Nik’s new HDR software the past few weeks. And even though I’m a die hard Photomatix user I decided to do the trial download of Nik’s new package. And I’ve got to say…….I’m very interested. Very very interested.
So, here are two samples. And yes, I know I pushed these images. Sometimes it’s fun to push just to see what the results will be.
Next week I’ll write up a thorough set of insights on yet another program that I’ll end up purchasing…….

Lookin’ good!! Is it the photographer or the HDR Efex Pro?
I have the full NIK suite so it looks like I’ll have to add the latest family member. But, I’ll wait for your review.
I’ve been playing with it for the last week, and I must say I really like it. I didn’t buy Photomatix, but tried cs5 photoshop hdr. This is far more intuitive, to say nothing about the results.

From what I’ve seen so far, I’m very impressed. Still love Photomatix, but I think Nik’s new software my be added to my arsenal.
