Just when I thought I’ve shot it all……

This morning found me shooting a very unique piece for local artist Laura Mountain.  Now I’ve shot Oils, Pastels, Acrylics, Charcoals, Pen & Ink, Pencil, Colored Pencil, Prints, and more.  But Laura is the first artist I’ve worked with who has a totally different spin on wall art and reproductions.

Laura came over to give me a hand hanging the piece.  I was nervous about randomly hanging this large piece without her.  Often I’ll have artists on hand for valuable pieces just so we’re all happy with how the art is handled and imaged.  It took a little doing to get this one up on the wall, but once up shooting it was easy enough!  We got a great match on the colors and tone of the hide as well.  It’ll be fun to see what we do with the image next!

If you want to see Laura’s work in person swing by the Black Arrow Gallery here in Prescott (on Gurley Street).
