Spending some time on Lightroom 2

Richard Charpentier Notes from Rich Leave a Comment

Months ago I purchased Adobe’s Lightroom2.  Not long after I received my copy of Scott Kelby’s book on Lightroom 2.  I received the copy of the book as a thanks for hosting the World Wide Photo Walk here in Prescott.

A pretty good thank you!

While I’ve had Lightroom2 and I’ve imported more photos over the past few months I hadn’t cracked my new Kelby book open yet.  Today that will change.  It’s one of my “to do’s” for my day off.  Reading is always a wonderful thing to do on a day of rest.

Once I assess all of the new features in Lightroom2 I’ll post a follow up to this post and let you know what’s new and cool in the software.  If you’re still on Lightroom’s original edition, don’t feel bad.  Just a fantastic management program.  The new version has apparently loaded many more features in, but that doesn’t mean the first version is useless.

Stay tuned, I’ll have updates regarding the feature changes soon.  If you’re in a hurry, I’d suggest checking out Photoshopuser.com and see what the experts have to say.
