You know, I’ve always wanted to do this, but I just keep forgetting. So here it is finally!
The first ever contest at the Airstream Chronicles!
This is a pretty good one too! And it’s pretty simple. We’ve just started the month of May, and we’ve got plenty of time left in the month. So, this contest will run through the end of May. A winner will be announced the first week of June, and the prize will be sent out the same week.
So, what’s the deal? Simple, it’s all about photography.
Submit your favorite photo between now and the last day of May. I get to check out your absolute favorite photo and select a winner. Pretty easy eh?
What do you get for it? Well, your photo of course!
The winner of the contest will receive a 16×24″ gallery wrap of their favorite photo. It will be printed on Breathing Color’s Chromata White Canvas, and it will get a coating of Glamour II veneer as well (semi-gloss). Of course I’ll need you to provide the full sized version of the photo rather than a web sized one, but that’s the easy part and we’ll take care of that when I select the winner. I’ll also need their address to send their image on canvas to them.
One runner up will also get a print of their favorite photo on my new favorite paper, Allure Rag!
So, how does a person enter?
I’m going to make this easy. We’ll do it through our Flickr accounts. If you don’t have a Flickr account don’t worry! It’s free and pretty easy to setup.
Once you’ve selected your favorite photo upload it to Flickr. Contact me at my Flickr account and be sure to include the link to your photo. I’ll check it out and include it into the pool of submissions. If you’d like you can leave a comment on this post as well. That way folks will know that you’ve submitted something. You’re welcome to include a link to your image on the comments here as well (I’d recomend it). Then everyone can see!

Rules?
The rules are simple.
- The photo must be yours! You can’t send along someone else’s photo, that’s just bad.
- Only one photo per person may be submitted.
- You must submit your link through Flickr’s service.
- If you win, you will have to e-mail a full sized version of the image.

Is the Air Stream event at P of R your doing?

There is an upcoming Airstream event at Point of Rocks. Not my doing, but I’m aware that they’re coming up. I’ll be taking them out on a little photo tour of the town over the weekend that they’re here. I think a few will be looking to do a jaunt in the Dells as well.
