A call to action
In order to avoid a negative August (my own business trend) I decided weeks ago to try and utilize Zenfolio and the readership here to make a down month a good one. The plan was to sell 300 8×12’s by the 20th of July in order to visit home and family, and photograph across America, and secure my first positive August since I started R.L. Charpentier Photography back in 2008. At the time I announced the Zenfolio portfolio I actually thought this shouldn’t be too hard. 300 sales is only 10% of my readership.
Unfortunately so far we’re well short of the sales goal. So, this will be my last reminder post on the subject. We’ll see what we can achieve. So far (being honest) we’ve had 3 sales (1% of the readership) and one donation from a long time friend who was hoping the Airstream could stop in and say howdy. The goal with the donation is 10% of the way there.
So, I ask all the regular monthly followers who have ever expressed interest in my prints to act. Buy one today, don’t wait any longer! Come July 21st prints will be set to their regular $35.00 each instead of the current $25.00 each.
Let’s see if we can go from 10% to 100% in four days. It’s still possible, and miracles do happen now and again. 🙂
